Welcome Families! We will be your child’s educator and provider while they are at Loving & Caring Children’s Learning Center. We have been working with children of all age groups for over 10 years. We enjoy working with children because they bring joy, happiness, excitement and most important they are the future. Therefore it is important to us that they receive all the right things they need in the early years to prepare them for their journeys in life. Of all things education is one of the most vital things in preparing a child for their journey. Currently we have completed the following state required courses, introduction to the childcare profession, fundamentals of family childcare, SIDS, fundamentals of infants and toddlers, baby shaking syndrome, DAP and CDA training along with over 200 hours of continuing education that pertains to the early childhood profession. Through our training we have learned gross motor skills, fine motor skills, cognitive skills, and language, social and emotional skills. These are all skills that are very important to a Child's development. We have taken the above skills along with many other acquired skills and created an excellent daily curriculum for all age groups of children. We currently volunteer to tutor school aged children, assist teachers with playground activities and we have worked with autism, attention deficit disorder, epilepsy and childhood depression. We plan to continue educating ourselves in a wonderful and rewarding field of working with children. Our current hobbies include but are not limited to reading, writing, art, science, bike riding, tennis, and spending time with friends and family. Our hobbies will be a great asset to children in our family care center.
